So quiet – the performativity of a pussy

Most people are born with a specific sexual organ. I realized that one of the genitals has much less visibility of its functionality than the other. I realized that the most “quiet” one is the one that is underrepresented! One day I got the idea to visually show what the performance of the “quiet” sexual organ is, so I made this short film that I called SO QUIET! THE PERFORMATIVITY OF A PUSSY. There’s some kind of “war” out there around gender issues. Let’s “zoom in” and bring a little more visibility to the silent pussy, regardless of the body/gender that carries it!

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
I couldn’t help but notice how often a male sexual organ appears in films – a penis, a cock, a dick, in all its different states: soft, dormant or, most often, hard and then impressively ejaculating.
I realized how visible and “loud” the performativity of the penis is.
You never have to ask a man if he’s horny or if he’s having an orgasm.
The answer is there, right in front of your eyes.
But the opposite is true for the pussy: it all happens internally.
What is the performativity of a pussy when penetration is absent?
Can the performance of the pussy be a visual image?
